- Leipzig: Beside the production site, it focuses on new technologies and electromobility with a 3.7-km FIA-certified circuit.

911 Carrera 4S, Ojos del Salado, Chile, 2023
Porsche AG’s remarkable achievement as Romain Dumas scales 6,734 meters above sea level in a modified Porsche 911, setting a new world altitude record.
ENGINE: Stock 443 hp 3.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, combined with a standard seven-speed manual transmission.
MODIFICATIONS: ‘Edith’ variant, developed by RD Limited and Porsche, features significant off-road capabilities. Equipped with portal axles, enhancing ground clearance to 13.7 inches (350 mm). This alteration also modifies gear ratios for precise, low-speed throttle inputs.
UNDERBODY PROTECTION: Fitted with lightweight, highly durable Aramid fiber for navigating rocky terrain.
STEERING TECHNOLOGY: The lead car incorporates steer-by-wire system, ‘Space Drive’ by Schaeffler Group, offering precision and feedback on challenging slopes.
eFUELS: Both cars ran on HIF Global synthetic eFuels, created in Chile. These eFuels are produced from water and CO2 using renewable energy, contributing to near net CO2 neutral combustion engine use.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Faced extreme conditions with half as dense air and temperatures around -20°C.
TEAM MONITORING: Health and safety monitored through Connected smartwatches by Tag Heuer, overseen by on-site medical professionals.
UNIQUE CHALLENGES: The team managed minimal snow but navigated through deep gravel and volcanic ash using the 911’s all-wheel drive system and Warp Connector for optimal grip.

The new Panamera, specifically the Turbo E-Hybrid, merges a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine with an electric motor, combining power and efficiency. Its customizable interior and advanced safety tech emphasize high-tech innovation with traditional excellence.

Setting New Standards at Nürburgring:
2025 Taycan
The 2025 Taycan brings meaningful changes while maintaining exceptional performance and driving dynamics. Porsche development driver Lars Kern achieved a lap time of 7:07.55 minutes on the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife with a pre- series Taycan, which is 26 seconds faster than his previous record in a Taycan Turbo S Sport sedan from 2022. The pre-series Taycan was equipped with a legally prescribed roll cage and racing bucket seats. Compared to the 2022 record, the pre-series Taycan was 25 km/h faster heading into the Schwedenkreuz corner. The pre-series Taycan outperformed the current Turbo S by more than 1.3 kilometres on the 20.8-klick course in Germany’s Eifel region.
